If you follow Padel Drive, you have seen this racket. During these years of coaching and filming videos I have tried many different rackets, but I still have not found a racket that feels like this one.
While every other racket has an open throat, the Hook Solid features a fully closed diffuser in the throat area. This patented Close2Hand technology isn't just a design choice. A solid throat dramatically increases the sweet spot size, giving you more margin on every shot, exactly where you need it most.
What makes this combination truly special is the pairing of Close2Hand with a high-density EVA40 rubber core. Higher density rubber typically sacrifices sweet spot size. Not here. The solid diffuser compensates entirely, so you get the superior ball feel and control of a denser core without losing that forgiving hit area.

I’ve been using the Hook Solid racket for the past 6 months, and I can honestly say it’s the best racket I’ve ever used. It has a huge sweet spot, which makes every shot feel effortless, and it’s very easy to maneuver on the court. The grip is extremely comfortable, even during long sessions.
What has impressed me the most is its durability. I play regularly and have hit the racket quite a lot, yet it still looks great. It doesn’t crack or get scratched easily, which shows how well it’s built.
The delivery was very quick, and the organiser was extremely helpful throughout the whole process, making the experience even better.
I also purchased the Samo grips, and they were amazing. They provide excellent comfort and feel, and they’ve held up really well over time.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and would highly recommend padeldrive and the Hook Solid racket to anyone looking for a high-quality, durable, and easy-to-use racket.
A warranty claim was rejected based solely on a photo, with inconsistent judgement. The racquet face failed prematurely, and the after-sales service was condescending. I have now started the chargeback process. I would not recommend this online retailer.

I played with it for the first time today and I am blown away. My coach immediately noticed the new racket and afterwards told me my game was much better than the previous week. Later, my regular playing partner told me he could actually hear the difference and said my game had improved “LOADS”.
