What makes it unique is the closed heart design – unlike most rackets, the Solid doesn’t have the traditional open bridge. Instead, it features a rubber insert in the throat through its aerodynamic 3D diffuser, which creates a bigger sweet spot and improves feedback. You feel every shot more clearly, more directly, closer to your hand.
This is what HOOK calls Close2Hand technology – and it's something you will really notice once you play with it.
The sandpaper-style textured surface helps generate more spin and enhances the feel, especially on serve, volleys and overheads. Thanks to its hybrid shape and medium-high balance, the HOOK Solid is extremly easy to move.

Very pleased with my new Padel racket. Used for the first time today and performs exactly as described, included a bag and an over grip as well which I wasn’t expecting.
